Certification Procedure

Certi­fi­ca­tion accor­ding to either NATUR­TEXTIL BEST, NATUR­LEDER or Global Organic Textile Standard is available for businesses involved in produ­cing, finis­hing, manufac­tu­ring or trading in textile or leather goods.

Businesses interested in certi­fi­ca­tion can apply directly to an autho­rized certi­fying entity.  These can provide infor­ma­tion concer­ning the appro­priate inspec­tion and testing proce­dure as well as a rough time frame for the certi­fi­ca­tion, begin­ning with the appli­ca­tion and ending with the issuing of a certi­fi­cate.  They are also the best source for an indivi­dual cost estimate, taking into account the size of the company, its areas of activity and other relevant factors.
